Children and Youth
Childcare -
Children are always welcome in worship, but if it is helpful to parents, childcare is also available in the nursery for children up to age four during the 9:30 am service on Sundays. The nursery is located in the Wonder Room, one of our preschool classrooms, across the kitchen in the Parish Hall; first-timers are invited to come into the church and ask an usher for directions. Children are normally brought into worship to be with their parents for Holy Communion.

Children's Chapel -
Children’s Chapel meets during the 9:30 am service on Sundays between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Children gather in the Youth Building across the courtyard from church, then join their families in the church for Holy Communion. Chapel includes a story, prayers, music and crafts or activities related to the morning's lessons.

Youth -
St. Michael's is at a place of "re-imagining" our youth group. Many of our older youth participate in "Junior Servants of Worship" and read, acolyte, or otherwise serve on Sundays. Other youth are actively involved in our outreach ministries at the Casa San Miguel Food Pantry or in Immigration ministries. Last year we held a youth confirmation class, and several of our teens were confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church. Contact the clergy if you or your youth group aged child is interested in engaging more.
