St. Michael's commitment to

Outreach  &  Social Justice

"Individuals can resist injustice, but only in community can we do justice"

--Jim Corbett, founder of the sanctuary movement

Casa San Miguel

Casa San Miguel
Food Pantry

Casa San Miguel, our Food Pantry, serves approximately 500 households per month. The success of this ministry is reflected in the continued support by the church at large, our partnership with Roadrunner Food Bank, and an authentic desire to know and be in relationship with the people being served.  It has been one of the core ministries of St. Michael's since 1997.

Dismas House

Dismas House, a part of HopeWorks, is a six-month prison reentry program for men exiting prison. Residents live in a house together with supervision and support. St. Michael's parishioners provide them with a meal and fellowship once a month.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for our Thanksgiving themed dinner on November 11.  If you’re interested or would like to attend the dinner on the 11th contact our office, and we'll put you in touch with leaders.

Las Familias Solidarity

In cooperation with many regional groups, St. Michael's offers opportunities for education and advocacy around issues of immigration, especially along the Mexico/United States border.

ABQ Faithworks

St Michaels is a member of the ABQ FaithWorks Collaborative. This is a consortium of churches working together to serve the marginalized in our community - the precariously housed, homeless and asylum seekers resident in Albuquerque.

We support outreach ministries such as Episcopal Relief and Development, the United Thank Offering, the Borderlands Ministries of the Diocese of the Rio Grande, and others.
